The Parent Champions Conference and Awards gives attendees an opportunity to learn more from the experiences of local Parent Champions schemes and is free to attend for all National Network members. 

This year's event will take place online over two days on Tuesday 13 May, 10am-2.15pm and Wednesday 14 May, 10am-12pm.

This interactive session will address common volunteer recruitment challenges and equip you with tools and ideas to support your Parent Champions recruitment process.

- What is participation and why is it so important?
- How participation is implemented in Wandsworth and how Parent Champions can be paramount 
- The thin line between participation and exploitation 

1.30pm | Making the most of your Parent Champions scheme, Parent Champions Islington
Selda will share her insights on how she manages Parent Champions in Islington, from promotion and recruitment to management of volunteers and recognition.
