Parent Champions conference and awards 2017
The Parent Champions conference and awards 2017 took place on Tuesday 14 March at Quakers Friends House, London.
The Parent Champions conference is held every year to celebrate the achievements of Parent Champions. The conference is attended by members of the Parent Champions National Network and usually features a high-profile speaker. The conference gives attendees an opportunity to learn more from the experiences of local Parent Champions schemes and hear about the wider national context for Parent Champions.
We were delighted to welcome Caroline Dinenage MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Women, Equalities and Early Years and Maria Sciara from the Department for Education. We were thrilled to welcome Parent Champions and their coordinators from across the country.The occasion proved to be a day of inspiration and celebration as we heard about the wonderful impact Parent Champions have made in their local communities.
The event concluded with the presentation of the Parent Champions awards for 2017. Congratulations to the award winners and nominees!
