Free leaflets to help parents with childcare costs
Our free Help with childcare costs leaflets are designed to help the parents you engage with get a clear picture of the various support options available to them towards their childcare costs. The leaflets cover the free childcare offer, tax free childcare, Universal Credit, the childcare element of working tax credit and childcare vouchers.
The leaflets are free for downloading and printing.
Over the past few years, parents and childcare professionals have seen a lot of changes to the financial support options available towards childcare costs and how these options are delivered. Without a clear and simple picture of what support is available, too many parents will miss out on the childcare they need.
The Help with childcare costs leaflets were originally produced (and since updated) out of a one year programme we ran in 2015 to help parents get the information they need to take up and afford childcare. The programme – funded by the Department for Education – focused on supporting childcare staff with the knowledge they need to help inform and advise parents on their childcare entitlements. The programme successfully ran across 15 nurseries servicing over 1,700 parents.
