On Friday 28 August, the Family and Childcare Trust joined forces with Gatwick Airport and Walker Books to host a Family Fun Day for families heading off over the Bank Holiday Weekend. 

Special guest Maisy Mouse was there to lead families on a treasure hunt through the airport, which ended at the children’s play area. Families were given airplane-themed activities to take on their flight, along with Maisy ears and stickers. Maisy herself made an appearance, greeting the families as they completed the treasure hunt.

The Family Fun Day was part of Gatwick Airport’s programme of family support. As a Family Friendly UK accredited organisation, they are dedicated to putting the needs of families at the centre of their work, and to ensuring that family travellers have the best possible experience.
